Description: Recycling - Since the goal of the Texas Trade Up Appliance Rebate Program is to save energy as well as help protect the environment, we hope that you'll strongly consider recycling your old appliance. By doing so, you help keep scrap metal out of landfills and avoid contaminating Texas natural resources. And, you'll receive a $75 bonus rebate.
Just ask the person removing your appliance to fill out the recycling section on your application if it will be removed to be recycled. Or, if you plan to take your appliance to a recycling facility to get your bonus rebate, ask the facility to complete this section. You won't need to fill out the disposal section A on the application form. View a list of recycling partners.
